Salute!
Hello and Welcome to Day Number one!
I am sure I am much more excited about this than anyone that happened across my brand Spankin' new Exploring page.
But I hope that changes with time.
First some background-- I have had several pages on Blogger---each picture and adventure filled. Each something seems to happen and I loose accesses to the pages fully.
Most I can still share my pictures and Exploring and forever Nomad life but not update the pages at all.
The most devastating to me was my last Exploring page--- I had 100's of blog posts of my adventures, 100s of hours invested in posting and thousands of views to the page----and than one day it just vanished completely! I cant accesses the sight at all view it or share it at all.
My very first blog page started in 2010 and has a lot of posts.
It is full of coffee love , jokes, pictures, and acts as a journal about my almost 18 year relationship and just life in general.
At some point I moved to the Bellingham Washington area and started posting all the amazing trips across the state. With the Kiddos and usually involving water.
In 2014 We moved back to Arizona and I started a new Exploring blog page.
After many posts and several years I also lost access to that page.
And eventually started a brand new blog page full of Exploring and pictures.
That is the page I fully lost last year Sadly.
I have many many ideas for this page
But I also wish to keep it simple & focus more on my pictures.
Something I have been thinking a lot about at the moment.
For I live in the desert and it is way to hot to Explore or really even move at the moment
So I have been looking at old pictures and wondering if all of my best Exploring has already happened.
Here I am going to post a picture of the day---picked by me.
It might not be a picture from today but one that caught my eye and that has a story to tell.
I might post only one picture and talk about it that one picture might lead into many to show Like today.
With no job or real "life" right now I have been planning this page for months now.
So hope that what does appear is art.
Today
The picture of the day is from Today Day one
07/19/2024
And I am going to add some other pictures today too.
Enjoy~~ !
And thank you for being here!!
we worship the rains.
The Monsoon season as it is called here.
After living in Oregon for six years and than Washington state multiple times, I never thought I would enjoy rain so much again.
But it is a whole different ball game here and the rain is cooling
And I could post similar pictures for days.
But these are all from today.
The same with sunsets----Arizona has amazing sunsets the colors are so bright and so fully different each and every single day.
As are the sunsets I just have witnessed much fewer sunsets here.
**"I would enjoy mornings much more If they started after noon."**
Some folks are seeing rain tonight.
But not here.
We got a nice amount last night and it cooled the temperatures right off!
Reflecting off the top of my car.
And now a couple of favorites from other days past.
Many moons ago we were stranded in Pichoe for several weeks
a mining town for sure.
I got up super early one morning and got this picture!
Just up the highway from Benson Arizona this fire station only flys there flag a few times a year.
Marsh Station
Sheridan Wyoming sunset one fine day.
I am going to stop here tonight
Because I could post similar pictures all night long.
Cheers!
