Picture O the day. On Saturday I saw a Mermaid in Arizona! And they were painting her as she swam. I went to the Hotel McCoy and they were having an art festival. If you follow any of my pages I have posted all the pictures I got that fine day. This used to be a VERY run down motel a few years back. The new owners turned this into a destination to stay at. Murals all over the walls, an coffee/brew bar for guests. On this day there were many food trucks and many vendors and artists. Artists that stayed at the hotel could show there wares and paint the walls in there rooms! Local booze vendors including Barrio were also there to give samples. I ran into a small conflict with one of the owners when I first arrived but that is a story for another day.
She came out of her home to swim on this day!
Bisbee every year has a Pirate festival and I am super intrigued to attend and
learn how Pirates have a festival in the middle of Arizona.
But I have not been able to go yet.
Today I will only share a few pictures from this great day.
To kind of show the flair of the place.
To kind of show the flair of the place.
Ill soon show them all on this very Exploring page I am sure.
As usual--for me I took a good deal of pictures on this fine, but hot day.
And was at first happy to see storm clouds moving in again.
They were Beautiful but produced zero rain at least in this area.
Just walking up to the building builds up the imagination.
Antiques in the entry way.
I have a picture of me as a kiddo
opening up a typewriter and absolutely thrilled.
Two thing from that--
I have always wanted to be a writer or story teller
and I was a strange kiddo.
Amazingly the Special bus is not also the short bus.
Even the Hotels sign is very intriguing.
I always LOVE a well written sign!
I thought this picture was a great image of what all Tucson is.
Wow!
Here inside and out The walls are alive!
We often wonder this time of year if the Sun ever does go away.
As is my life!
I am pretty upset that I still can not find my pictures from my very first Exploring here several years ago-but I know I took many of the same pictures.
OK I am already sharing more today than I had planned
But this place is endless Exploring.
This mural was again out by the pool.
I like to jump around in life in my Exploring and in my blog posts. ;)
Mine!
Where ever you travel
There you are!
I hope to see you on The Dusty Trail!
Parting shot
Before going to the art festival
I went to a new to me local coffee shop.
And loved the coffee cups!
