Hello!
So this has been an amazing Monsoon Season in Southern Arizona at least.
And last night --In Tucson it once again did not disappoint.
The ground can not take huge amounts of rain all at once
in the desert and everything insta floods
I knew the road I usually take home would be mostly a running river
So took a different way home ---and noticed this park for the first time.
Tucson has a ton of amazing parks. Most of them huge and an amazing amount, at least to me have public pools.
This above is the ball field of the park.
On the other side of the park near the playground.
A much drier table.
This is just a portion of the area under water.
It really does look like a pond or lake ---right?
Yes still all just rain water.
Although it might of not all gathered up here just from yesterdays storm.
Lets play ball!
Here in Arizona water of any kind is hard to come across. So if you have followed my adventures ---you know I take pictures of any kind of water I find while Exploring no matter how nasty or scummy.
I also mentioned my very first Exploring blog page-started while we lived in Washington state.
That page I still can view but I can not edit or add to the page at all.
Anyways here is an adventure from Washington years ago, where the park was flooding .
The major differences are-----the land in the great northwest is usually prepared for much and constant rain.
And this was after days of rain down pour.

Also from yesterday.
In my front yard though.
These cactus are all about ready to bloom it seems!
Cheers!
This is an old picture from around 2011 before all my hair was grey for sure.
In a coffee shop on Main Street in Sheridan Wyoming.
Surprisingly I have not really talked about coffee --at least on this very page for a bit now.
Everyone should have a White Mocha Steve? No?
And NO these were not both my coffees
If above was before coffee-----than this is after!
Used to be on the side of a coffee shop in Bellingham WA.
OK---- so Dutch Brothers has monthly stickers
this is the one that just came out earlier in the week for August.
I may have more of these than I would like to admit.
Especially since I do not enjoy the coffee that much---but I really do like the stickers!
Dutch Brothers started in the 90s in Oregon
And now they are expanding every where majorly!
In fact there headquarters just this year moved from Oregon to Arizona.
Whatever that means.
My main table in my RV houses many of my stickers----from my travels and from coffee shops and bars and such.
I will show more of my collection another day for sure.
Usually it's one sticker or so per drink----one time I went to the coffee shop with my hospital arm band still on because I couldn't find scissors to get it off. And I think they felt sorry for me and gave me like 5 stickers.
I went late in the afternoon on this day and really did not think I would get a sticker
One location I stopped going to would be out of the stickers by 8 AM many times!
Anyways I found a location in Tucson on this fine day that must not get very busy
Because she showed me a huge stack of stickers, and asked me how many I wished for.
A few years ago when Tucson went from zero locations to like 20---I wish I would have known that at grand openings--they hand out extra stickers and different ones--from each other.
Last note on all of this information--
In case any of you enjoy the stickers also
I just found out that if you order gift cards from the company online
and spend at least 15$ they send you random stickers with the gift card.
I have not been able to verify this yet.
Thank you for being a reader!
Please share this page if you enjoy what you see here.
