Today's picture of the day features snow.
Snow in Tucson even.
And coffee!
I have not talked about my Exploring fuel here for a few daze now. And it just so happens that tomorrow is National Coffee Day.
Hopefully several outlets will offer free coffee because free Always tastes betterer.
In 2019 in January I believe the desert floor got a nice dusting of snow. I was working at a golf course restaurant in Oro Valley Just out of Tucson. And they were going to close that day. Because white snow and white golf balls... But we stayed open. And it turned out to be our busiest day of the year. Everyone came out to see the snow! People tried to sled on the golf course! This here picture is after work while I was headed home to Benson. On the highway actually. A bit later near Marsh Station and the Arizona Trail I ran into about five inches of snow. And I was the only fool out and about in it. I grew up in Wyoming and have enough snow for a lifetime. But snow in the open desert is a whole new ball game and Amazingly Beautiful. I will share some of those photos soon. I honestly have not found the file of snow pictures yet. With heat breaking records in Tucson again, it was 108 here yesterday , and supposed to be even hotter today. Of course since I work today. In the heat. We did have fall like temperatures for here for a bit. Really. At any rate the snow pictures fool my head into thinking it is cooler.
