Todays picture of the day Simply because I need and am ready to start up my road trips again. And just see where the road takes me. Each and every road trip clears my mind and re sets my soul. And of course gives me a new chance to support local caffeine dealers! Except for my very recent trip to Benson. First time been that way since July. And just driving into town made me very anxious and uneasy.
My poor rental car...
This one was staged in the middle Of Mount Zion Park.
But in years past MANY of my road trip ended this way
And I dont think most people realize how hard it is to hitchhike now a days.
Or with the hood of my vehicle up on the side of the road.
Maybe the perfect road trip vehicle? Spotted in Vegas.
I always wanted a bus for an RV actually.
Maybe put a real bed in it and a hammock or tow.
Drop a hot tub in the back in the floor.
I have also seen units like this that charge people a little bit to sign or paint a portion of there rig Kind of a Kool idea for an every changing outside and for some gas money I guess.
I have actually seen this same rig or its twin a few places across America.
I believe this picture was in Sheridan Wyoming.
Pretty sure the date stamp is off on this picture Because I think we took this great mess of an adventure in 2014. Biggest road trip journey mess ever.
From Bellingham Washington to another boarder in Benson Arizona.
But this was our set up plus a U haul truck.
And a conversion van. Three kiddos the mother in law who despised me but played nice for this trip and several dogs.
Cheers!
Once I get batteries for my RV again it will be all ready for extended road trips again.
For now I will have to settle for mine trips in my car on my days off work.
This is another picture I could fill an album with.
Motel 6 used to be my destination while traveling.
But now they are as expensive as any place.
And the remodel rooms are very uncomfortable.
This is an older picture I believe from Billings Montana.
When you could still smoke in rooms maybe
I always laughed about how Motel 6 would have ashtrays in the rooms but the back side of the astray clear said no smoking!
Sadly another thing I have way to many pictures of
A closed up coffee shop.
This one is in Montana in the middle of Crow Indian reservation.
I have shared this before and will expand on it in a future blog post.
But my Amazing dad comes along with me on my longer road trips.
He always liked a good tip and we say loads of country and road when I was growing up.
If anyone would care to fund these trips
with gas or coffee cash I am just going to leave my Paypal sight right here.
Thanks in advance.
Unfortunately you will have to cut and paste the below link to go to my sight.

Awesome, I think a road trip hitting all the local, mom and pop coffee stands would be great 👍
