Hello!
I have not posted any pictures here for a few Daze. Life has been very distracting lately for me. And my posts here have been short and sweet for sure. Of late.
I have a brand new page online where I try and post at least one picture of the day and than tell a little about it. I have so many posted on that page, that I try and update those to my Exploring blog too. But I really do have many longer blog posts with more pictures in the works. For sure. This is the visitors center in Flagstaff Arizona.
I lived here for a few months many moons ago. In the town Not this parking lot. And I wish the area was closer to me now. There is so much to see and do here and MANY things I have never Explored yet. But it gets cold cold up in those hills. The best part about the cold there is you get to cold and you just drive down the hill into Sedona and thaw out! Each and every year I say I am going to drive to Flagstaff to see and picture the wildflowers and than the tree fall colors. Each and every year I do not make it. I still have a chance on the Fall leaves this year so we shall see.
Although the snow is falling up there now. Lots of snow.
Last time I went to Flagstaff and spent the night it was the 1st of October in 2019
When I woke up the next day it was 31 outside.
I was preparing to go by the closer Mount Lemmon because I heard the fall colors up that way where Amazing.
But just the other day it snowed up that mountain and only those that lived up there or had four wheel drive could go up.
And it is supposed to get very cold here in the desert again tonight. Like mid to low 30s cold. It is all only amusing because I was showing pictures of snow and such here just a few weeks ago in an attempt to make the 100+ temperatures not seem so bad.
I guess that worked to well.
For I was ready for the winter weather but my RV might not be. Yet.
Of course I have many other pictures from Flagstaff but this one is my soon to be famous
