Hello! I have really been slackin' on this page over the last few months.
Between being sick for almost a month and such I just have not posted here much. If you my newest Facebook page I try to post almost every day. That all said many new picture filled posts longer posts and features and of course coffee love by the gallon is coming to this very page soon! It really is :)
Today Picture O The Day comes from Mount Lemmon Ventured up there last Sunday to catch the snow before it all went Away. They recently got a foot of snow. And the area is very close to Tucson. Once you endure the twisty road up. But it is paved and has many pull offs to see the sights. Or view Greater Tucson down below. I did not build any of these snow creatures but I can bet they showed up in a lot of pictures! And they had an Amazing view! Showing that Yes Virginia it does snow in Arizona. Even down here in the valley some. I have pictures from 2019 in January of almost five inches of snow near Benson AZ. Of course you can view those on this very blog page! Just use the search feature.
3/16/2025 Up Mount Lemmon into the snow! Was 75 in greater Tucson 52 on the mountain top. At about 6000 feet I started seeing snow. About a foot of snow reported at the ski lodge. Yet they still said not enough to ski. Probably because everyone from Tucson came up to play in the snow.
When I do the full Exploring blog from this day Few pictures of the old jail overlooking Tucson into snowmen into sunsets! It amazes me that this road was built by prisoners. More on that too.
Where are you Exploring today???
