Over Greater Tucson this evening.
July was not hot hot as usual this year but August is not seeing a bit of rain so far and is already breaking heat records. Tucson almost did yesterday at 111 outside. And unlike last month it just is not cooling down at night now.
Today Tucson broke all kinds of records for heat in August at 112. Records put in place since the heat as been registered in the 1800s. Not really a good thing to be proud of. But Welcome to the Desert!
Phoenix also broke records at 118 today!
Glad we did not hit those highs but honestly after its over 100 outside it is just Flipping hot outside really.
I grew up in Wyoming where one year we had two weeks straight one winter where it never got out of negative temperatures. And back than we did not get out of going to school for such temperatures.
Welcome to Wyoming!
All I can now say about temps is in the cold cold one can always put on more layers of clothes.
In the Hot one can only take off so many clothes. Determine what you must out of this.
Although it was way to hot to jump in for hours finally got to enjoy a pool that is working .
I believe the heat brings out the crazy in people super super fast.
But I am never sorry for anything I type here or on any of my pages.
