A few months ago I heard about the new Military Vehicles Museum in Tucson just behind and to the side of the Amazing air and space museum. I have several Exploring blog posts from the huge air plane storage. All you have to is "Search" on this very page. But because it was so close images from there show up in this post too. I wanted a new place to Explore and it was air conditioned here so win win. This tank above is right in front of the museum with a great view! Just inside is a nice store with all kinds of items you can buy and an area to get coffee also! If you say you live in the county there is also a nice discount for entry.
My main complaint on this day was that the signage for each vehicle and the lights over head made it very difficult to picture the vehicles but of course I still tried. Huge building full of vehicles. And there are more tanks and such to view outside. Where I guess they let people view them being driven around randomly. I can only assume that since this is a new place the tiems to view will increase over time.
Those mountains are always near when Exploring this part of Arizona.
Still roaming around outside in the heat.
Now some more tanks yes still outside.
I need one of these for a quicker commute to work! ?
These things are Amazingly built.
How about viewing some more tanks now?
Especially if it was loaded.
Many may say I take to many pictures. But as in most aspects of my life I do what I want.
I can say I did take a good deal of pictures on this fine day But I did not take pictures of everything this large museum had to offer.
The major diffrences in thses older vehcles amazed me.
Although the newer vehicles were tough tough they all kind of come out looking the same.
OK still a lot of pictures to show here bare with me Folks!
Never used in Arizona.
Tow Maters uncle perhaps?
Interesting
OK lets go back outside!
As I said the air and space museum was in this same area and you can just make out several Amazing planes on display beyond the blooming cactus.
Even with the heat I wandered around outside for a bit. More in front of the air museum because it was a separate fee to go in and I had been there before. Several times in fact.
Any of you recall when GE was huge?
Entrance
Also those mountains in the background as always.
Looking in\
Please look up my full blogs about the airplane museum.
Do not worry we are almost done with todays Exploring.
I did not think I had as many pictures from this day as I did and I really started out thinking this would be a quick post.
Another similar great museum further down the road.
I hae been but did not pay to go inside.
Another location fully
But I really like this picture
Back at The Homestead and time for some coffee sipping as I watch Another Amazing sunset.
