Hello all this fine but extra warm day at least here in the desert.
Yesterday the dark clouds moved into the area and produced no rain at all at least over work.
Yesterday the dark clouds moved into the area and produced no rain at all at least over work.
Than later I was spotting lighting all around for over an hour. But still no rain at all. So the dark clouds moving in now are not going to fool me one bit. Right now at almost PM my car says it is only 109 outside. And we are under an extreme heat warning for the rest of the weekend.
This has nothing to do with this Exploring blog post but maybe explains why I am at a coffee shop with air conditioning for sure.
So a few years ago Beside the I 10 Highway right about the Marsh Station Exit
there was hundreds and hundreds of train engines. One fine day I snuck onto the property and took pictures. And than one day they were all gone. The train engines that is.
This trip turned into two different Exploring blog posts. You can find right on this very page.
Now in the same area is hundreds and hundreds of train cargo cars.
Months ago I roamed to the area to get a closer look and of course get pictures.
Actually now that I think about it I think this was late last year. The dates on my pictures were acting up for a bit there. As in posting the wrong dates on my photos. And for me everything is just blending together.
Before this Adventure of course I needed some coffee.
Mad Mule Coffee Company in Benson Arizona
provided that for me with expertise.
And I needed to get some pictures of there new metal sculpture the mad Mule!
Close up.
Where I parked right near the huge ADOT building that looks long abandoned but still has huge piles of sand and such inside. Do not worry the pictures get clearer. This is before I upgrades my camereas.
When I Explore I VERY often spot lone shoes.
as in one shoe.
On this fine day it was a lone sandal.
No one was around so I thought I should venture near this great building.
And I have pictured a lot.
Some really is art for sure.
Especially when I can draw stick people and animals only.
What eer you wish to call it This building had a lot inside and out.
See and it is all locked up still.
Simply look for these signs if you wish to Explore here too.
Just recall it soon turns into Railroad property so might be Private Property.
Spotted on the ground Just before I saw the following memorial.
And no I did not pick up the heart rock it was meant to be right where it was!
More "Art" down by the tracks.
I was too!
I just did not sign any walls.
Train cars Again I apologize for the images on this outing.
It is a good thing I do not know how to read.
In fact I often tell people at work that if I knew how to read I would have a real job!
Mostly because as you can see the sun is setting quickly!
Canadian Rail Aye!
Peeking under.
Parting shot for today As I was heading back to my car.
As alwyas I hope you enjoyed this Exploring.
