What A view inside and out!
This in from the middle of Tucson Arizona.
I have many such pictures from across the country. There is jut something about checking out old buildings. In fact many I have visited no longer exists. This particular trip had an extra bonus because a major air flight pattern or three goes right over this hill top. Right over.
Like the planes are close and loud!
The great stone house is very close to where I live now and of course I have many pictures from that location.
Although the trail may be "Closed" right now....
I bet when these people built there houses
they never dreamed they would become hike destinations!
And we can only hope our modern built houses last this well.
Cheers!
At the start of this hike.
Yes even in the land of the sweating sun I mostly drink hot coffee.
But usually while sitting in air conditioning looking at the hot desert.
I often wonder if it is super smart or super stupid when I crank my A/C unit and sit there drinking hot coffee.
This particular hike was interesting because I used Google to find a hike near me.
And EVERY comment about this hike was about all the planes flying directly over head
All the trash just thrown all over the parking lot and trails And the likely hood of your car getting broken into while on the hike. I was instantly sold on checking out this hike spot!
I have told about this day before So I will not go to deep into it all today.
But how about some more old buildings from that day? And a few of the Amazing view.
This was a bit ago because I have not had this car for at least five years.
I like to include my vehicles in my pictures because I am sad to say that I now have no pictures at all of my very first car or several I had right after that.
Full view of the house pictured above.
And another building on sight.
Not as intact for sure.
Have I mentioned I love picturing and Exploring old buildings and barns?
Near the parking lot.
On this day I also visited Hotel McCoy for the first time.
Run down buildings in the past bought out and now a vibrant art filled destination.
I have talked about this great place twice now with full Exploring blog posts.
Please check those out by clicking on the "Search button" for this blog page.
Each was a truly great adventure.
