Get Your Chill On!

 

I believe this as Christmas morning one year in Benson Arizona  up by the truck stops.  To show that ir really does get chilly in the desert.  After months of it being 120 in the shade I often forget this.   In 2019 I pictured about five inches of snow on The Arizona Trail near Marsh Station.   And have pictured snow several years since than here.  Usually in January it seems.  Now I grew up in Wyoming and have seen all the snow I need to   BUT it is a whole new ball game and Beautiful in the open desert.   I will soon post some of the snow pictures I am talking about just above.   Why am I posting this picture today?    Because I am trying to fool my mind into allowing me to believe it is not as warm outside as it is right now.  
The news weather man keeps saying that cooler temperatures are coming to this area

Even into the 60's over night      which is almost chilly for us Tucson folk. 

But each day it seems the temperatures still are climbing to around 100 outside.
