Hello.
I managed to get out a little bit today in Benson Arizona.
The temperatures were cooled down a little bit and in fact it looks like we all might see quite a bit of rain from another tropical storm heading into America. A lot of rain if the forecast I saw today is true Like buy a boat in the desert amount.
Dry for today though.
I have a lot of pictures of this great statue. Up by the truck stops in Benson.
Today the clouds were equally impressive.
Here I could not decide if the big rig on the highway was more impressive in the shot or
just the statue.
This leads into a large RV park in the area.
Extra twisted cactus at this entrance also.
Just another day surrounded by hills here in the desert and where the clouds just could not decide what they were going to do.

Maverick used to be from my home state of Wyoming and that area
but I guess they are expanding now.
I really wanted to roam around that building in the back ground.
I have pictures from there before because it has sat empty for years and years.
It was a restaurant and bar back in the day I guess.
but when we moved to the area in 2014 it was already empty.
Someone has finally purchased it and it is going to be a large church!
I would have certainly roamed around the property but crews were working on the outside and there is now a big travel trailer in the parking lot.
I told you it was a quick bit of Exploring
